Friday 7th, two teams...Gresford and Friends of Gresford played out a good game of T20 cricket. A good crowd turned up to support and be entertained. Thanks to all who participated, especially those who had joined from other clubs in the area....Mold, Llay, Colwyn Bay, Gwersyllt, Chirk.
Kegs on Wheels and Gareth H`s pizza oven provided the excellent refreshments.

Cricket apart the highlight of the evening was the presentation and heartfelt thankyou to David and Lesley Lowe. David has been the club treasurer foe 25 years and we reluctantly accepted his resignation earlier this year. David has been instrumental in the development of all aspects of GCC since our move to our current ground some 30 years ago.
All at Gresford are hugely grateful to his wisdom, meticulous research , record keeping and most importantly his friendship over his time with us.

Saturday 8th...contrasting fortunes for our two teams. Big win for the 1st team against Mochdre which included a 230+ 2nd wicket partnership with both Joe Benson and Josh Knowles scoring big 100`s. The 2nd s losing heavily at Llandudno despite 97no fro skipper Gez Jones.
The day concluded with an excellent Knowles` bbq`
