A cold damp evening for our first match of the season against a very strong Brymbo side...they are early favourites to win our league.
Batting first on a slow wicket...100 runs our target...our top four batted sensibly with lots of good 1`s and 2`s. Joe, Fred and Huw only got out when trying to hit out! Joe remained no.
The bowlers deserve much praise for keep us in the game bowling both a good length and line ....and with a bit of luck could have easily have picked up more wickets (catches going over heads, edge passing leg stump). Harrison on his debut picked up two wickets (was on a hatrick).
Four good catches in the field.
MOTM.....Jamie D 25 good runs from the opener and tidy wicket keeping, including a good low catch.
